Plaxo (Oct 27 2003 18:10 GMT) - I finally bowed to the recent hype over Plaxo and gave it a go. It's actually very cool. Plaxo integrates with your contact list in Microsoft Outlook (other app support coming soon), letting you automatically synchronise your contact profiles with the latest details supplied by other Plaxo members listed in your contact list. For non-Plaxo members listed in your contact list, it creates a nice request email containing a summary of the information you have in Outlook for that contact, the recipient either clicks the button to say it's Correct or clicks Change. If they you choose to change their details, they're taken to a nice simple edit form on Plaxo site. |
