Left: Hugging Islamofascism (Oct 27 2003 22:59 GMT) - ANDREW SULLIVAN: "Here's a prediction: the fledgling links now forged between left-wing anti-war campaigners and Islamo-fascism will get stronger in the years ahead. The Price of Tyranny: $200 Billion (Oct 27 2003 22:59 GMT) - The donor's conference for Iraq is over, and the peace-loving Global Community has come up with an extra $13 billion dollars for Iraq, excluding the United States contribution. http://scriptingnews. userland. com/2003/10/27#When:2: (Oct 27 2003 22:59 GMT) - Jeremy Allaire is reporting from the PDC. Note that Microsoft doesn't run videos that make real weblog software look hopelessly out of date, like Apple did with Marc Canter's software (and mine, btw). |

Tarantino: a killing joke, or three [John Bartram] (Oct 27 2003 22:58 GMT) - I almost had him thrown outside. I was in a bar of an ancient pub celebrating my having just picked up a television award when I saw this scruff amble in and order a drink. His dirty, crumpled raincoat and long, unkempt hair was in sharp contrast to the 'olde worlde' charms of our hostelry. I was mildly curious and offended. It was the gasps and loud whispers of my fellow award winners that gave me pause. |
