West Palm library proposals fit trend (Oct 29 2003 20:59 GMT) - A Palm Beach Post article about a proposal for a new library building - with six floors of condos on top of it. Some say they wouldn't mind such a hybrid. Others derisively call it a "librando." Warren Schwartz, an architect in Boston who has won awards for library design, said there's an entirely new way of thinking. Libraries no longer are considered just quiet monumental places to curl up with a book. |

How to get/access Userland Outliner (Oct 29 2003 20:58 GMT) - I downloaded a trial copy of Radio Userland with the understanding that it has an outliner that will allow me to edit OPML files. The online help instructs me to use a File/New command, the only one I can see appears to be in my browser. When I enter the sample OPML URL suggested by Help into the Window, a screen results which to me looks like XML code, not the representation of a directory that I was expecting. Am I doing something wrong here? Any help would be appreciated. |
