Well editing (Oct 30 2003 16:30 GMT) - CJR's langauge corner on the proper use of well. The superstition about "well" seems more widespread than common sense might suggest. Why? A craving for absolutes, perhaps, leading to misguided pedantry. It is well to resist such temptations. |

Bah. (Oct 30 2003 16:30 GMT) - Onveilig? Nee, ik voel me niet onveilig hier. Ja tuurlijk, ik let wel op. Risico's vermijden, maar dat vind ik niet tellen als onveilig. Dat hoort gewoon in een grote stad, dat je je portomonee extra diep wegstopt. |

He, like many others examining the issue, comes to the conclusion that the old model of seeking broad reach in fuzzy, indirect targeting categories will wain over time, if slowly. iMedia reports. Metrosexual (Oct 30 2003 16:27 GMT) - Back when Jamie and I were dating, she told me that I was a bit of a metrosexual. I think she'd take that back if she saw my hands right now (cut up a little bit from fishing hooks, line, paddling 25 miles a week, etc.), my tan (a bit uneven, due to, y'know, clothing), my hair (needs a cut - no time for that when you can fish instead!). Yeah, that's me, a regular Grizzly Adams in the making. |
