A couple nights ago I was taking dinner out of the oven, and while in the process of setting it down on the counter, accidentally knocked a paring knife off the counter. The knife fell straight down, point down, and ended up sticking right in my foot! It only went in about a quarter of an inch, but it stuck right there in my foot until I bent over and pulled it out.
