Me cago en los pedazos de pelotudos! (Oct 31 2003 23:30 GMT) - Let me get this straight: I worked my ass off full-time for 17 years and paid into Social Security - against my will, I might add - knowing there's a distinct possibility it will cease to exist before I'm old enough to get my money back. But despite the fact that I - and millions upon millions of people in my age-group - have been compelled to pay into a system that's been screwed all to hell, that's screwing our parents, and that's likely to screw us, too... now we're talking about paying Social Security benefits to day-workers and undocumented immigrants from Mexico? Thanks, ! |

Skutečná rádiová konverzace (Oct 31 2003 23:30 GMT) - Žádný dopravní prostředek není bezpečný, když ho řídí banda tupců. Dokazuje to kopie skutečné rádiové konverzace mezi americkou námořní lodí a Kanaďany - nedaleko pobřeží Newfoundlandu, říjen 1995. |

Dung Cleaner For Pocket PCs...? (Oct 31 2003 23:30 GMT) - No, I didn't mistype that. Dung Cleaner is supposed to be a game based on the classic Lode Runner. PPCT moderator Kati Compton noticed that Asus is now bundling this uniquely-named product with their A620BT, and hypothesized that the translation started at "Load Runner" instead of "Lode Runner" and went downhill from there. [Emoticon: lol] The interesting part is, the game looks pretty good. |

OU hosts unmatched Halloween bash '03 (Oct 31 2003 23:29 GMT) - Ohio might not be the Spring Break destination of choice, but we do have the best Halloween party. I am not going this year, but I have been down to Athens twice for the annual Halloween bash. The first time I went down, a friend’s tires got slashed . |

Our favorite songs is gone (Oct 31 2003 23:26 GMT) - When "Radio" first started making its appearance, the cloud was hosted on the domain, ourfavoritesongs.com. That was a strange time. Who knew that Radio would have turned out to be my most used tool and who knew that it wouldn't have anything to do with a list of other users and the music they like. |

A340 Fuel Dump (Oct 31 2003 23:25 GMT) - Here's an A340 doing a fuel dump inflight so it can make an early landing at the right weight. A similar thing happened to someone we know a couple of weeks ago. After take-off in a 747-400 the landing gear wouldn't retract, however rather than dumping they circled for 5 hours to burn fuel and landed again at Heathrow. |

iPod Dies at Altitude. (Oct 31 2003 23:24 GMT) - I've been using my 15gb iPod to supply music in my unpressurized airplane. Today I decided to fly high, returning to the S.F. Bay Area from Las Vegas. At FL190 (~19,000'), my iPod got weird. |
