Now on to November! (Nov 04 2003 18:58 GMT) - Now that Halloween is over, we've all experienced how difficult it is to choose just one piece of candy from that big huge bowl full of tempting goodies. Since it is difficult to make the choice and we'd really like to try them all, a compromise is usually made - we take more than one. By the end of the evening, after too many samplings, some of us may not be feeling so good.Could this same scenario happen with the choices we make on how to spend our time? Absolutely! |

Daily Sucker for Tuesday, November ... (Nov 04 2003 18:55 GMT) - Daily Sucker for Tuesday, November 4, 2003 America's Web Site is pissed at MSNBC in general and Keith Olbermann in particular. Actually, I like Keith Olbermann and his Countdown show quite a bit. I can't stand politics or political shows so Keith's humorous take on the day's events is a lot like my book "Son of Web Pages That Suck." Well, Countdown is a now little too much like my book because someone at MSNBC read my book and "borrowed" one of the pictures. I was watching the show last Friday and I was surprised, to say the least, to see my picture on his show. |

Re: Photo Gallery Plug-in for Radio? (Nov 04 2003 18:54 GMT) - On the PC I use Picasa, and on the Mac I use iPhoto, to manage images and generate my image galleries. Those tools allow me to do all the basic image cropping, red-eye etc, and they do a fair job of auto sizing the images, creating thumbnails galleries etc. I then copy the Picasa/iPhoto generated image gallery folder to the wwwimages folder and Radio automagically upstreams it to my site. Then it is just a matter of adding a new post to my weblog with a link to the address of the upstreamed gallery which you can find either on the events page or the folders page in Radio. I also use the MyPictures tool to create teaser images on my main blog page that links to the gallery. |
