Exercising my Civic Responsibilities (Nov 05 2003 02:59 GMT) - Voting today, in the all-important City Council At-Large elections. Three observations: 1. My polling place is in the basement of a Senior Citizens Home in Egleston Square. The humid smell of bleach and detergent, emanating from the laundry room off the polling area, permeates the room. |

middle age castle (Nov 05 2003 02:57 GMT) - This is a picture of the path to the old castle in my hometown. Some parts of this castle has been there for more than 600 years! In the Middle-Age, a count was the lord of the area, and the land workers had to live by his rules, as in most of past europe. |

Three canoes by the lake.
