MS antitrust settlement foes propose stiffer remedies (Nov 05 2003 12:46 GMT) - The antitrust settlement between Microsoft Corp. and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) needs to be amended because it doesn't ensure competition between Microsoft and its rivals, the state of Massachusetts and an IT industry group argued Tuesday. Microsoft should have to release the code for its Internet Explorer (IE) browser and allow original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to make any IE functions invisible to end users, argued Steven Kuney, lawyer for the state of Massachusetts, before the... |

Like Jailbate |

I wonder how many people ... (Nov 05 2003 12:43 GMT) - I wonder how many people have horrific flashbacks when they see the ending of the new Nickelback video "Someday"? I think there are three at this house. Caerlee Hill Fort (Fieldnotes by Martin) (Nov 05 2003 12:42 GMT) - Sunday 3/11/03 Through St. Ronan's Wood I follow the sight of the communications mast that now sits on the side of this fort. However, climbing over the fence, the original features of this fortified settlement are more apparent- you can still see about four of the hut circles and most of the ... |
