Using MS Outlook Public folders WITHOUT the need for MS Exchange! [Andy Kay] (Nov 08 2003 06:59 GMT) - Hi everyone, I just wanted to ask everyone who uses MS Outlook 2000 or XP (not Outlook Express but Outlook) to download our free 30 day evaluation add-in. Our programmers are working on the new version and your feedback would really help. As a "thank you" I am able to set you have a free copy of the product for your team if you decided you wanted to use it with your team, regular customers or suppliers. I'm also keen to speak to anyone who can distribute Outbook™ for us for revenue share opportunities. Please take a look at my profile for full details, or download the free trial here. |

Blogger News Item (Nov 08 2003 06:59 GMT) - Oh nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I can't believe it. In the seven seasons of Survivor, I finally missed a full episode. I had missed half the one where the deaf woman got voted out because a presidential news conference or something delayed everything half and hour and they didn't announce it in time for my Tivo to know. Then I missed the first 15 minutes a week ago, which I thought I would see tonight. Not even close. |

I hate banks, credit card companies, and the financial industry... (Nov 08 2003 06:58 GMT) - I just had this revelation the other day when I was forced to call ShittyBank, err, I mean CitiBank. You see, they splashed up a cryptic error message when I tried to login to their web site and view my credit card balance. It claimed there was an error and that I should call. I couldn't imagine what the error was. It had worked fine just a couple days before. |

Skirky on the Semantic Web (Nov 08 2003 06:55 GMT) - Clay Shirky has a great new essay The Semantic Web, Syllogism, and Worldview that gives a funny and at the same time brutal critique the Semantic Web. This is perhaps perhaps the high water mark of presenting trivial problems as worthy of Semantic intervention: a program that can conclude that 102 is greater than 100 is labeled smart. Artificial Intelligence, here we come. |
