Remaining weekend (Nov 10 2003 03:59 GMT) - Monday again. This was probably one of the first weekends that was enjoyable AND did not seem to be over in the blink of an eye. I left off with my bitching on the apartment crisis, which still has yet to be finished. After some much needed Corrales I made ... |

This is not a good habit to maintain otherwise over time I'll become a one-dimensional person and lost touch with reality. |

(Nov 10 2003 03:58 GMT) - I MENTIONED IT BEFORE, but enough people are still emailing to tell me about the new Iraqi blog called The Messopotamian that I'll mention it again. (No, that's not a typo -- it's a pun. I guess.) The first mention obviously didn't take. Also, don't miss Iraq At A Glance,... |

(Nov 10 2003 03:55 GMT) - Baker, C's rebound to beat KingsKings 82Celtics 91Friday's night's loss was discouraging, and almost three minutes into the game Sunday night, it looked like the Kings were going to blow them off the parquet. Great Enterprise (Nov 10 2003 03:54 GMT) - Wow, this week's episode of "Enterprise" was great. It reminded me a lot of the story of H.M., one of the most bizarre stories told to Psychology majors, about a man suffering from anterograde amnesia, or the inability to form new memories. There's a BBC article here. |

Helpline Comment (24355) (Nov 10 2003 03:50 GMT) - I have a DOS program from 1985 called QT(QuickType) by MetaLink. It allows printing directly to the printer from the keyboard and will print each character as it's typed or delayed mode prints a full line at a time. It' useful for printing special labels or filling out forms. I have lost the setup disk for this program. I need to change printer ports and would like to avoid disassembling the program to do so. |

How to not get it (Nov 10 2003 03:50 GMT) - Not sure where this came from, but it speaks volumes about contemporary Christianity. "The consecration of Gene Robison as bishop of the New Hampshire Diocese of the Episcopal Church is an affront to Christians everywhere. I am just thankful that the church's founder, Henry VIII, and his wife Catherine of Aragon, and his wife Anne Boleyn, and his wife Jane Seymour, and his wife Anne of Cleves, and his wife Katherine Howard, and his wife Catherine Parr are no longer here to suffer through this assault on traditional Christian marriage."--Paul Emmons, West Chester UniversityYes sir, ol' Henry knew how to celebrate the sanctity of marriage alright. |
