Where Do They Breed These Folks? (Nov 11 2003 22:05 GMT) - This season of Joe Millionaire really sucks. Not compelling, trying too hard to be like the Bachellor. The Joe Millionaire guy is even stupider than Evan, and not even, usually, in an entertaining or good way. He did come out with a zinger last night though: Wine is much better in Italy than in a box at home. |

Could someone point out Mom of the Year for me? (Nov 11 2003 22:05 GMT) - I'd like to pass along my congrats. I just received an e-mail from a relative of mine; one who refers to herself as my "aunt." (She's so not). I must have the mistake of blurting out that toilet training and Addie are not exactly sympatico. |

Newsgroups vs. Web-based Forums (Nov 11 2003 22:02 GMT) - My previous entry about web-based forums generated a number of comments from those wanting me to stick with newsgroups (NTTP) for support. I actually prefer newsgroups to web-based forums, but I'm faced with a couple of problems: More and more of my customers are finding themselves behind corporate firewalls which don't allow NNTP access, so they can't reach my newsgroupsSome of my customers have never used newsgroups before, and they don't want to learn another program just to get support Of |

Catholic Monarch for England? (Nov 11 2003 22:02 GMT) - Britains's Act of Settlement 1701 prohibits a Catholic from ever becoming monarch. Many regard this as a form of religious bigotry and are working for its repeal. Of course, no repeal would open the monarchy to anyone - it would... |
