Too Much Information?? (Nov 14 2003 08:59 GMT) - This is a great article about information literacy. Please read the entire thing and then think about it. Here's the first paragraph. Despite having more information at our fingertips than any generation before, there is little evidence that our ability to make good, timely decisions has improved. A musician is not someone with an instrument and a songbook. |

(Nov 14 2003 08:53 GMT) - The Senate Intelligence Committee memo caper: still no press packLast considered here on November 7, what should by now be the infamous memo on tactics drafted by an SIC minority hasn't yet got the mongrels slavering in numbers.Dan Kennedy in the Boston Phoenix (November 13) is almost Pollyanna-ish:Maybe the media are finally catching on.Though, disappointingly, he only refers in the graf to Republican stunts - as if the Dems don't stunt as often as they think they can get away with it. |

Re: Integrate with existing site (Nov 14 2003 08:52 GMT) - Hi David, Thank you for that prompt and extensive reply to my questions. Everything sounds staight forward enough. In regards to #5, perhaps it is called a "blog post" but basically I was referring to the headlines (and sometimes short abstract) that I receive from subscribing to a specific Rss feed, say for example, from NYTimes. Now when I used radioland's blogging system, it looks like I get a list of headlines from NY Times, and then I have to go through the list and check/select each headline that I want to publish on my blog, than click the publish button. I am interested in cutting out this step. |
