Blogger News Item (Nov 30 2003 23:04 GMT) - Musically challenged rap artist and 2nd Amendment advocate P. Diddy (a/k/a Puff Daddy a/k/a Puffy Combs a/k/a/ Sean Combs) has once again changed his name, this time to Hey Diddle Diddle. Although Mr. Diddle currently remains unavailable for comment, sources close to the entertainer, known as the "Steppin' Fetchit of the New Millennium," say the diminutive rapper's many name changes are the result of an identity crisis he has been undergoing since having been rejected by actress Jennifer Lopez in favor of a series of caucasians with much larger penises. Angels in America (Nov 30 2003 23:02 GMT) - TV Reviews: Just as there was no real precedent for the achievement "Angels in America" represented in the legitimate theater, so are there few film adaptations of stage works comparable to what Mike Nichols has done with Tony Kushner's two-part epic. Project fully capturing the grandeur, urgency, poetry and humor of the produced play. |

Line of Fire (Nov 30 2003 23:02 GMT) - TV Reviews: Writer-director-exec producer Rod Lurie delivers a dark, unflinching take on an organized crime operation and the FBI agents pursuing them. Sometimes paralleling HBO's riveting "The Wire," this ambitious series features a web of cops and robbers. In fact, odds are it will wind up a chalk outline at the hands of "Special Victims Unit." |

Earth-like worlds may orbit nearby Vega (Nov 30 2003 23:00 GMT) - Astronomers say they have evidence for Earth-like planets orbiting a nearby star, making it more like our own Solar System than any yet discovered. The star, Vega, is one of the brightest in the sky, only 25 light years away. It is three times larger than our Sun and, at 350 million years old, much younger as well. Vega has a disc of dust circling it, and at least one large planet which could sweep debris aside allowing smaller worlds like Earth to exist.Read more @ BBC Science News. |
