qpsmtpd review in Linux Journal (Dec 01 2003 07:56 GMT) - Lots of things happened in my life in the last ~2 months. But they've all been either too personal to post here or too insignificant relatively to the important things for me to want to take time to write them. I considered writing about the more personal things, but I decided against it. I think I might be about ready to pick up the stream of nonessential random tidbits again though... We'll see. |

Major League Baseball Still Claiming Ownership Of Game Data (Dec 01 2003 07:56 GMT) - Good old Major League Baseball. Back in October we wrote about how they were suddenly claiming that any website that broadcast real-time game info was violating their copyrights and were required to buy a license. Most people laughed this off and pointed to a 1997 ruling against the NBA, where Motorola was told they were allowed to send live game information to pagers. Now, Wired News is running a followup to the original story where MLB claims they know all about the Motorola decision, but believe it only applies to scores. Any other real-time info is their own. |

Poll Shows Disparity in Oklahoma Health (Dec 01 2003 07:55 GMT) - A new poll indicates that while most Oklahomans believe they are healthy, their habits do not reflect a healthy lifestyle. Eighty percent of those surveyed by The Oklahoman/OU Poll said they consider themselves to be a "healthy person overall." In a separate question, 80 percent described themselves as "living a healthy lifestyle." |
