blinking cursor (Dec 02 2003 18:59 GMT) - Last night was my first experience seeing Phish live in concert. They were absolutely amazing and it was a surreal experience. I would definitely go to see them again, I just will have to make sure that I make it through the entire concert. I'll probably get mocked and ridiculed at work for calling in sick, but I believe that if you're sick and incapable of driving yourself to work, you should probably lie back in bed and pray that normalcy returns. I'll just say that I was in a bad place last night, to make matters worse, while I came back in during intermission from outside (to which I had to leave the crew and started the downward spiral) some dude sat down next to me. |

As predicted by the cad-dad theory of human mating strategies, the women preferred the proper heroes for long-term unions. When asked which character they would like to see their future daughters choose, they also selected proper heroes. But when asked who appealed to them most for short-term affairs, the women turned to the dark heroes — the handsome, passionate and daring cads.Tomen nota. |

We must protect democracy (Dec 02 2003 18:58 GMT) - "What ever happened to Osama Bin Laden?" says that most putrescent of the naysayers, Atanu Dey. Says who? There's nothing good in war except its ending."In truth, this was spoken by an actor portraying Lincoln, in the classic Star Trek episode "The Savage Curtain."
