May the nations forget the petty problems and work to bring harmony to those who would fight selfishly. Church - Bless Bishop Hanson, the bishops of the synods, and all who are working for Christ. Give them wisdom to do the things they need to do and ability to know what is unnecessary. |

New Headphones, That Match! (Dec 02 2003 22:58 GMT) - Last Friday I got to show my sister's boyfriend around the city. He had never been to NYC, which meant he deserved to see the craziness that is Chinatown. While there, I told him about the elctronics stores that import Asian versions of American products, often for lower prices. While looking, I noticed a pair of Sony headphones I had read about and knew were popular among iPod users -- the MDR-EX71SL (the white ones are only available as imports, but if you google the product name, you'll find them). My current iPod headphones were already falling apart, after six months of use, and they aren't the best in the world. |

Australian iTunes Store in Q1 2004 (Dec 02 2003 22:57 GMT) - Perhaps I should start saving now. As the Australian digital music market matures, with national telco Telstra announcing in October that it's jumping on the legal music download bandwagon before christmas, Microsoft making overtures about entering the market in the US (and eventually Australia) with both a hardware player and online store and other existing players ramping up their online presence, Apple are strongly rumored to being close to securing the necessary agreements with ARIA and APRA, and launch an Australian iTunes Music Store early in the new year. There goes my credit card. |
