Intel Roadmaps Posted On PC.Watch (Dec 05 2003 04:53 GMT) - The other day The Inquirer picked up on PC Watch publishing Intel roadmaps for chipsets, processors, and Intel's general mobile plan. Q1 2004 Dothan release (chart says Q4 2003, but Intel delayed release several months ago) and Alviso-GM chipset are listed, as well as Jonah, Jonah ULV, Merom, and Gilo will be released in 2005 and 2006. These unofficial (or copies of official) roadmaps are consistent with Intel's move toward mobile products. According to CNBC Morning Call (around 8:10AM Pacific Time), Intel is expected in its mid-quarter update to describe how buyers are replacing older desktop computers with notebook computers instead of another desktop. |
