Mobilizing fishing permits increased sales 50% (Dec 07 2003 23:01 GMT) - The city of Oulu hit a jack post last summer when it started selling fishing permits by mobile phone. Even if the test project covered only a limited area at Sanginjoki and a limited netting of white fish, the sales of fishing permits increased 52 percent over the previous years. Of the 2397 rod fishing permits sold 40 percent were sold via mobile phones. |
