Defending Your Rights (Dec 09 2003 19:51 GMT) - The whole discussion of a person's "rights" depends on each individual having the means and ability to defend himself from assault by those who would deny those rights. In the case of society we have professional military and police forces... |

D-Rose Daily (12/9) (Dec 09 2003 19:51 GMT) - Fixed some more shadowed builtins, and fixed some other PyChecker complaints. There were a few things PyChecker mentioned that I'm fairly certain weren't problems. My first thought was to let the PyChecker author know about these, but he's only got the mailing lists turned on in SF, and doesn't filter spam. I hate spam. So I'm gonna sit here and whine, and keep my little problems to myself for a version or two, until they either get magically fixed on their own, or something. |

D-Rose Daily (12/8) (Dec 09 2003 19:51 GMT) - Ran code coverage trace, and added a couple of tests to ensure complete coverage, (one of which uncovered a bug; go figure). Also pulled down newest PyChecker, ran it, and started working through warnings. One new warning in this version has to do with an identifier shadowing a builtin, in my case, 'long'. So I renamed it 'lng' throughout. |

D-Rose Daily (12/4) (Dec 09 2003 19:51 GMT) - Added some more tests to TFTrain and TFTrainManager. In part, these tests provide more complete coverage, and in part take care of things I had found to be problems earlier and just fixed w/o tests. (Shame on me.) In other news, this means that the list of open bugs is empty, and new development for this release is finished. Whew, that was a much longer cycle than I wanted or intended. |

GENERATION DEAN (Dec 09 2003 19:50 GMT) - Read this, and then tell me that the sort of excitement that Howard Dean creates really does have a chance of exciting the fifty-million Americans Dean will need to win. Emphasis mine:Teachout says she has been wanting to do something like this since March. ''When I was falling in love with our grass roots,'' she says, ''I thought, If I get fired, I am going to go on the road and meet all of them. Once the idea occurs to you, how can you resist? |

Grey Lists, explicadas sucintamente, seriam formadas a |
