A Hairy Situation (Dec 11 2003 00:54 GMT) - There are many things about getting older which frustrate, perplex, fascinate, even anger me, but none quite as much as the inexplicable appearance of hair after the age of 40 in places where hair has never before grown. Now, if that's not bad enough, consider, then, the completely baffling and, might I say, downright eerie, overnight manifestation of a single long, horsehair-like eyebrow. Why, it's enough to give me chills as I sit here! And don't try telling me it was there before I went to bed, because I know it wasn't! These monster hairs sprout in a matter of hours amid all the other eyebrow hair in an effort to remain hidden, but their presence can be discovered with ones first glance in the morning mirror if you take the time to look closely. |

DeWitt County Sheriff Roger Massey says Amanda Hamm and her boyfriend, Maurice Lagrone, were arrested yesterday and charged with first-degree murder. He says they were brought back to DeWitt County, where bond has been set at five (m) million dollars for each of them. The sheriff wouldn't say what authorities think is the motive behind the killings of the six-year-old, three-year-old and two-year-old. He says the charges could bring the death penalty. |

So today is different as the example is really simple and speaks for itself. There’s a flashy looking van in my local area and I see it quite often. When Schillling Wins, We All Win (Dec 11 2003 00:52 GMT) - Of course we at Boston Sports Blog are rooting for the success of Schilling. We root for the success of all our players, but Schilling has given us an added incentive clause unprecidented to my knowledge. Jason Stark writes that Schilling will donate all his award and performance money to charity.Every now and then an athlete makes a move that says, "Wow, this is how sports should be." As good as Boddicker was, it makes me hate that trade even more than I already did (and I hated that trade a ton). |
