Oh Rhett! (Dec 11 2003 13:59 GMT) - Oh Rhett! If you haven't see GONE WITH THE WIND lately, rent it. It's really something. One quote I liked particularly is at the bottom of the page. The scene is a big charity ball, with Scarlett in widow's weeds -- dressed in black -- and furious that she has to be on the sidelines and can not dance, as that would be very improper for a new widow. |

New offline blogging (Dec 11 2003 13:59 GMT) - I need a new blogging tool. One that allows me to create posts (like this one) offline eg. when I'm on the bus and the automatically post them when it connects to somewhere, like the (W)Lan when I get to work. (As my laptop is has a wireless card I guess that this could be theoretically be any unsecured wlan I'm passing through? Not sure need to learn about wifi). |

Lunch (Dec 11 2003 13:58 GMT) - We went for lunch on Tuesday as a team get together (3 of us are new starters). We went to a Chinese restaurant, which was apparently on Pimlico road, all I know is that we got in a taxi, drove for five minutes and then got out. Anyway this restaurant is the sort of place where you go in and say I'll have some food please, no menus (perhaps there were but we didn't see them) and the food just comes. Lots of it. In waves and waves. |
