- I've posted this on my club but am posting it here also to get an answer hopefully faster :-) Can I get some help and advice with website statistics: I have advertisers on the home page, and I checked my web statistics today with my new hosting company, and it shows hits to these images (their banners) that are hosted on my server. Does this mean that because they are hosted on my website, that when someone clicks on the image on the home page here, it shows up as a hit on my web statistics for my site? If so that is brilliant and it means I can give my advertisers feedback on the number of hits they receive. |

- From the Sydney Morning Herald : US troops have shot dead a senior officer of the paramilitary group Saddam Fedayeen after storming his house in the northern Iraq city of Mosul, his neighbours said. The US Army confirmed there were raids in Mosul but refused to comment about the reported death of Col Ghanem Abdul-Ghani Sultan al-Zeidi. Two of al-Zeidi's neighbours, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said US troops stormed his one-story house in Mosul's central neighbourhood of al-Sukar just before dawn and shooting was heard later. Helicopters took part in the operation, the neighbours said. |
