Novell and IBM team on Linux tour (Dec 11 2003 17:20 GMT) - [Meerkat: An Open Wire Service] - Since November 6th, Novell and IBM have been touring the country together doing a dog-and-pony show about how they work together and separately to bring their customers the best. Especially the best as that relates to Linux. I was present at the 41st stop on that tour yesterday in Austin, Texas. This is a brief report on the message they are delivering. |

Mais je ne fais pas dans les statistisues, parce qu'aujourd"hui, je suis vraiment déprimée : L'écrivain ivoirien Ahmadou Kourouma, 76 ans, prix Renaudot 2000 pour "Allah n'est pas obligé", est décédé jeudi à Lyon, ont annoncé les éditions du Seuil qui le publiaient. C'est presque l'un des pères fondateurs de la littérature africaine de langue française qui vient de s'éteindre. |

Les vêtements se ressemblent tous, ne se différencie qu'après une étude minutieuse et coûte horriblement cher. Souvent aussi les marques véhiculent des valeurs qui ne sont pas les miennes: business, sport et fashions victimes. Moi je veux avoir un style qui me représente en tant qu'individu ! |

Delayed patch ends Microsoft's patch-free month early (Dec 11 2003 17:17 GMT) - A glitch in Microsoft's Windows Update automated patching service caused a security fix that was released last month to be delivered to computer users on Tuesday, the same day Microsoft proclaimed December would be a patch-free month. The software patch fixes a serious vulnerability in a set of Web site management tools called FrontPage Server Extensions, which are part of Microsoft's Windows 2000, Windows XP and Office XP software, according to Microsoft Security Bulletin MS03-051 released Nov. 11. Exploiting the flaw could allow an attacker to gain control over a user's PC, Microsoft said. |
