Climax racing to Xbox 2 and PS3 (Dec 11 2003 17:27 GMT) - The makers of MotoGP 2 have already geared up production on their first title for next-generation consoles. Climax, the developer behind the critically acclaimed MotoGP 2, announced today that it has already begun development on a racing game for the next generation of consoles. Code-named "Avalon," the game is being prepped at Climax's UK studio in the seaside resort town of Brighton. Even though the company says the game is already at "an advanced stage of development," Avalon won't be released until the Xbox 2 and PlayStation 3 debut, presumably in 2005. Further details were unavailable, although the game will have a new, as-yet-unknown actual title. |

Microsoft launches New Xbox Bundle in UK (Dec 11 2003 17:27 GMT) - Microsoft is now offering a Project Gotham Racing 2 bundle pack for the Xbox, selling the critically acclaimed racing game with the Xbox console for £129.99. The bundle will also feature two free months of Xbox live. This is the Xbox second bundle pack offered this holiday season, the first bundle including full versions of Halo and Midtown Madness 3. Project Gotham Racing has seen mediocre sales on the UK charts, debuting at number 17 last week and dropping down to number 27 this week. |
