Invite codes are history! (Dec 11 2003 19:37 GMT) - We won! LiveJournal has changed their mind in the face of protests and have gotten rid of invite codes forever! I don't know about you, but I feel like celebrating! My many thanks to all of those who offered their support in my proposed protest of invite codes. The fear of a peaceful, widescale protest against invite codes by many of LiveJournal's longtime members (and through them, by many hundreds of new members who need invite codes) was enough to change LiveJournal's policy. |
