Justice or Editorializing? (Dec 11 2003 22:33 GMT) - I am of course one more voice in the chorus of laments against the Supreme Court's indefensible decision re: McCain-Feingold. Margaret Cho's political/sexual Revolution hits Ithaca and Cornell (Dec 11 2003 22:33 GMT) - There was a definite buzz in Bailey Hall on Monday night, December 8th as people waited for comedian Margaret Cho. If someone had played "Vogue" by Madonna over the loudspeakers, they would have had to stall the show for the extravaganza that would have broken out. Cho does a lot of material about -- and work for -- the gay and lesbian community, and there was a large presence of "family" in the house. The mood was set for an evening of fun and good spirits. |

[Grid :: Blog] Advent 2::Stretch (Crazy Long) (Dec 11 2003 22:31 GMT) - This year has been a real time of stretching for me. My view of the church and of Christianity has really grown and matured in the last year. I could probably say that it started before then, but I’ve really been noticing it more lately since I’ve been making friends with Christians from a variety of different traditions. I think... |
