I only have a few days to study, and that's not nearly enough. But I don't feel the imminence because the exam is a week away. The problem is that I have an intervening exam that I'll have to study for and then take. |

- The government's Auckland transport rescue package has been released with much fanfare but independent experts say it will not be enough to save the city from gridlock. As expected, the package includes another 5c rise in fuel taxes, the establishment of a dedicated transport body under the Auckland Regional Council, and extra spending of $1.62 billion on Auckland roads over the next 10 years. There will also be extra funding for roads outside Auckland of $1.35 billion. |
