Mod list? (Dec 12 2003 07:05 GMT) - Ok, so a few friends doing mods, and my new year mod plans have led me to have modding on the brain, as my ever broadening wishlist will soon attest, and thus I have desired to have a less hectic and more localized area to discuss modding. As I do when such things occur, I thought of creating a mail list. Is there any readers who would be interested? Or would this be better left to the Forums, whenever they work right? I am eager to hear modding tales, tips, and warnings. |

cl: A Language for Formally Defining Web Services Interactions (Dec 12 2003 07:03 GMT) - This paper proposes a conversation definition language as a simple, yet powerful, way to define web services interactions. The main idea behind cl is to explicitly define the permissible message exchanges over time (conversations) between web services. This paper also introduces the notion of choice as a key enabler in expressing the externally visible behavior of services. It provides semantics for such conversation definitions in terms of the potential traces of documents exchanged between the services. It outlines some of the essential properties of such conversation definitions, compare with other similar approaches, and discuss potential directions for further research. |
