This free workshop will enable delegates to learn more about developing links with schools, discover projects promoting engineering, science and technology and find out how other institutions are working with schools. The prime reason many HEIs carry out school liaison is to promote their institution in order to encourage more people to take up their Higher Education courses and make the institution more successful. However these activities can also be used to promote engineering, science and technology as subjects to school pupils who have little knowledge of the scope of these disciplines. |
