No suspects in Tent Embassy Fire (Dec 19 2003 05:59 GMT) - No surprises in this ABC online story that security tapes from the Old Parliament House haven't helped police id a suspect in the fire at the Tent Embassy earlier this year. It appears that the Tent Embassy residents are also "demanding" the police records into the investigation. What's wrong with them paying their $15 and going through freedom of information like everyone else? |

blogs (Dec 19 2003 05:55 GMT) - Syndication in consumer electronics. An article in yesterday's Wall Street Journal (subscription required) vindicates the Harvard Business Review piece I published three years ago on syndication as the business model for the digital age. I was focused on e-commerce, but the same dynamics are hitting businesses in the very physical consumer electronics industry. Charitable Contributions (Dec 19 2003 05:52 GMT) - It's the coming up on the end of the year, which means (among other things) that it's time to decide what charitable contributions to make to organizations that are working to make the world a better place. I thought that the weblog would be a good place to share a list of nonprofit 501(c)(3) groups that our family is supporting, so that readers might be inspired to check some of them out.
