N. Korea Vows to Strengthen Nuclear Force (Dec 20 2003 05:57 GMT) - North Korea said Saturday it had to strengthen its nuclear "deterrent force" to counter U.S. development of new, smaller nuclear weapons. Last month, President Bush lifted a decade-old ban on research into low-yield nuclear arms and authorized $15 million for research into a nuclear weapon capable of destroying deep underground bunkers. |

Twenty Compact Digital Cameras from Canon in 2004 (Dec 20 2003 05:53 GMT) - Canon has announced today that it plans to roll-out nearly 20 new compact digital cameras in 2004 in an aggressive product push to grab 25 percent of the global market and it seems that this is aimed squarely at Sony.
