- Well, today wasn't such a good day really. We travelled up to Derby to watch the Rams play Sheffield United, however by the time we arrived at Pride Park the match had already been abandoned, due to a waterlogged pitch. We did have some pretty heavy rain on the way up, so it wasn't that much of a surprise really, although the rain had stopped and it looked like the skies were clearing by the time we'd parked up, but it had already been called off. It seemed as if it had been a 4 and a half hour journey for nothing, but thankfully we were able to get a full refund on the tickets, and we did buy some stuff in the club shop as well [including a rather funky new mouse matt] so it wasn't a completely worthless trip. Surely postmen expect to find post boxes full of letters, especially at this time of year? |
