(Okay, I may have made the last bit up but in this village, it wouldn't surprise me! |

jane @ 12/20/2003 05:36 PM (Dec 21 2003 18:09 GMT) - Oh Pablo, don't be silly - we all get sick sometimes. And sadly, no, I don't command a handsome salary, but I still do plenty of work. Marmite and flat lemonade always work a treat for me. My Mother always made me drink lucozade when I had an upset stomach as a child - I can't bear the stuff now. |

blog visuals: where to begin? (Dec 21 2003 18:04 GMT) - I started a new blog earlier this month and am still laughing my tail off over the Radio User Land claim that a new user can be "up and running in five minutes." That's a knee-slapper! Anyway, the gist of this message: I want to enhance my basic, not to say blah and amateurish-looking, blog interface with some nice graphics and a side bar of links, and I literally do not know where to begin. I have had some rudimentary web design experience in the past, enough to know a tiny bit about HTML, and the process of embedding gifs in the page in order to create those pretty colors and cool textures. |
