Movie: The Last Samurai Over ... (Dec 24 2003 23:34 GMT) - Movie: The Last Samurai Over two weeks ago, I got out to The Last Samurai, with Tom Cruise as post-Civil War mercenary in rapidly industrializing Japan. I liked it. But the rest of the film is certainly worthy of your dollars (or other currency). |

Feel free to browse through the site and check out some of the longer articles, if you haven't gotten to them yet, such as Why is Marijuana Illegal, War on a Plant, and Frequently Asked Questions. For something on the lighter side, check out my parody Increase in Burger Abuse Seen. |

SCO gets another a--hole for Christmas (Dec 24 2003 23:34 GMT) - One interesting side effect of SCO’s latest folly, is that it is providing some interesting insight into the initial development and maturation of some of the core of linux. Linus and other core developers have torn SCO another new one. Unfortunately the press, even the tech press, haven’t really come to understand the ridiculous nature of SCO’ |

Are there any good international organisations? (Dec 24 2003 23:33 GMT) - A few weeks ago, i was looking through old issues of The Spectator and I found a piece by Mark Steyn from a little over a year ago. He was talking mainly about his dislike of the UN, and the silliness of Libya being at the time the newly elected chair of the UN Human Rights Commission and Iraq being about to become president of the UN Conference on Disarmament.
