Merry Christmas! (Dec 25 2003 18:57 GMT) - I hope you all got what you wanted! I mainly got cash, something I could do with a lot of at the moment. I also got a cold a bit early, not something I wanted but nevermind. I shall make... |

babao : De l'espoir (Dec 25 2003 18:56 GMT) - En ajout à Vous me rendez... suite à quelques commentaires :-) A vous...

Blogger News Item (Dec 25 2003 18:49 GMT) - Have a merry, sex and gadget filled hyper-commercialized Japanese Christmas. "Well it all started when a Spanish Jesuit missionary named St. Francis Xavier brought Christmas to Japan in 1549...." The Jesuit bid to Christianize Japan was a flop though, and now - while Jews in the West, for example, tend to go out for Chinese food on Christmas Eve, the Japanese had little connection to the Christian version - so they invented their own! Syncretistic Japan pulls in random elements of Western "Christmas" and recombines in pleasing new ways! |

Blogger News Item (Dec 25 2003 18:49 GMT) - A British hostage held captive by the United States for the last two years has been released. The hostage in question, Tony Blair, had been forced to follow his captors' every will, including taking Britain to war twice, staying quiet on Guantanamo Bay and participating in several alleged sexual incidents. Little is known about Mr Blair's captors, but it is believed that the ringleader has the codename "Dubya" and resides in a large white building in Washington DC. Dubya apparently allowed Mr Blair some freedoms, including world travel and his own bed three days a week, but retained complete control over his hostage by means of an electronic chip planted on the brain. "Dubya was inspired by Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which he is a keen fan of," said an intelligence source. |

Blogger News Item (Dec 25 2003 18:49 GMT) - The old saying about men and women being from different planets isn't always a joke: You may really be married to someone from outer space! "As many as 5 million aliens are living in the United States after taking on human form," says Dr. James Kune, a physicist and former government UFO expert. "They're evenly split between male and female, and most of them are married though childless. |

Blogger News Item (Dec 25 2003 18:49 GMT) - Inspired by the hit religious-action-biopic "Luther," concerning the violent life and bloody career of Protestant icon Martin Luther, McDonalds franchisees in Minnesota are racking up boffo sales of Happy Meals containing action figures of the title character. "The 'Samurai Luther' that chops off the heads of Catholics is a real popular item," said Lars Tillstrom, manager of one of the McDonalds stores in the giant Mall of America. "We get a lot of students from the local seminary specifically looking for that. And of course, the anatomically correct 'Lounge Lizard Luther' is doing gangbusters with the younger crowd." [More] |
