Audiences (Dec 26 2003 04:56 GMT) - I'm always amazed when people who post things on the Internet are shocked to have them discovered by people who they didn't want to have see them -- the Internet is a public forum, and we all find this out sooner or later, some in harder ways than others, I guess. But it's also interesting that even I, crusty old cybernaut that I am (hey! you kids! get off my 2400 baud modem!) can still be surprised at my readership, and how it works. |

- Over the river and through the woods to Mark’s family gathering, we even had snow… although Johnstown always looks like the arctic when we visit for the holidays. Driving over ridge tops and through the thick pine stands highlighted heavily with snow, the flakes falling in the dark night, it makes for a wonderful drive. This year along with the too much food, women playing scrabble and men playing pool, children running and playing in the house. There was a power outage. A truck struck and took out a few telephone poles and the power lines. |
