pay 4 spam (Dec 26 2003 22:53 GMT) - Isn't technology supposed to make our lives easier? The microsoft proposed 'payment' of cpu cycles proves once and for all that email is broken and even the world's smartest technologists can't fix it.It's only a delay for the inevitable. Moore's law will catch up with the estimated 8000 emails a day limit and as they are already accustomed to paying for fast machines and large bandwidth bills. The BBC article incorrectly states that sending email is free. |
