Eurolager (Dec 27 2003 16:42 GMT) - Eurolager The mystery of the Nej vote of Sweden joining the Euro has been found. For the Ja campaign, back in the summer, some late night strategizing resulted in EURO LAGER! Perhaps the only Currency themed beer around, it aims to appeal to all European drinkers, without any specific brewing culture reference. Like the non-existance bridges and buildings printed on the Euro notes, Euro Lager only suggests actual beer and merely achieves the lowest common denominator of beverage. It was probably perceived more as a threat, than an invitation. |

Blog 2.0 (Dec 27 2003 16:39 GMT) - Been thinking of some changes to the Furrygoat that I might unleash on Jan 1st. After 2+ years of having the same look and feel, the website begs for some new blood. Besides some basic cosmetic changes, I've been toying with the idea of switching over to dasBlog. Of course this means that all permalinks would be dead (which, defeats the word "permalink"), unless anyone can think of a relatively easy way to import 800+ entries. |

- I think this is a terrible tragedy, whatever happened, and I'd rather think about it as little as possible. So this is my last word on the specific case. I think it's also terrible, though, that a 12-year-old is being held up as an adult. It makes a mockery of our legal system to do that.
