Alaska ties "dividend" to slavery submission (Dec 29 2003 08:59 GMT) - "To qualify for a permanent fund dividend check, Alaska men between 18 and 25 will have to sign up with the federal draft registry, under a new state law effective Jan. 1. The state plans to forward information from the dividend applications to the federal government, which will automatically register the eligible Alaska males who haven't already signed up. What should we put in a Linksys WRT54G [Julian Bond] (Dec 29 2003 08:55 GMT) - In the last 2 weeks the WRT54G hacking community have found a way to compress the file system in the box. This means considerably more space and so more linux utilities and apps can be fitted in. Most of the work is being done around the Sveasoft who have a forum for discussions and anouncements. We can change the name of a control, do a Build and it fails with 10+ errors that make no sense. Stuff like 'variable not declared' when in fact it is. |
