Buy your wife some lingerie, dammit! (Dec 29 2003 19:40 GMT) - Why do men freak out when they even think about buying lingerie for their wives? Some men never do, simply because they're afraid they'll get it wrong. Get a grip, guys. Like anything else, it takes practice, and a little common sense goes a long way. You'll like what happens when you give her some nice lingerie. |

Klogging Event (Dec 29 2003 19:40 GMT) - I'll be presenting, along with Glen Engel-Cox, an ASAE Knowledge Network titled "Blogging for Associations" on January 8, 2004. The session will cover how associations can set up a weblog network on their intranet as a low-cost knowledge sharing tool. To support this session and some other stuff I'm working on, I've set up a wiki. You can see the page for the blogging session here and the main wiki home page here. I've restricted pages that I want to maintain control over but most of the site is editable. |

Writing in the new Iraqi edition of Martha Stewart Living, the doyen of doilies told readers that Saddam needed to be much more tidy. "When he and I are released from prison, he'll want to return to a neat and tidy home, and I'll need a home too," said Martha. "His place need's a woman's touch, and a woman for that matter. I'll be short of cash, so if he has any left, maybe he and I could hook up. |

Mac Drive Problems: I Get It Now, but I'm Not Happy (Dec 29 2003 19:34 GMT) - Having spent most of yet-another-day working on this stupid, old Mac, I now understand all the issues with the hard drive upgrade. E-Voting Firm Hacked (Dec 29 2003 19:33 GMT) - While lots of people have pointed out the risks of electronic voting, now a story is coming out that one firm providing e-voting technology has been hacked.
