UK Sharing Friendly ISPs (Dec 30 2003 10:10 GMT)

Xmas in London (Dec 30 2003 10:08 GMT)

- We had a great xmas away from home, with just the two of us we opted for an xmas lunch at Asia de Cuba, a trendy restaurant mixing asian and mediterranean, the deserts were amazing too. As the tube was closed for xmas we walked to the restaurant via Hyde Park. On the way home we walked via Buckingham Palace and waited for the 5pm light show to start, where they had two massive stacks of projectors shining images onto the front of the palace. The images were extremely clear, sharp and bright, including a union jack and an excellent tracing of the palace features in thick white on a purple background, turning the palace into a big cartoon like building. On Boxing Day we headed out to the sales at Selfridges, and Harvey Nichols on Saturday.
