Cap'n Ahab's got nothing on you, because you're hunting land-whales - planting your spring loaded, teargas charged, jousting-spike right in that perp's trunk. This is one of those insane devices that can't... |

Last ski of 2003 (Dec 30 2003 23:31 GMT) - Just got back from a quick morning’s skiing at the Summit at Snoqualmie. Your views about Leonardo's approach to machines and science .. [Ajit Jaokar] (Dec 30 2003 23:30 GMT) - Hello all, As per a couple of previous posts - I have been thinking of innovation(rather the lack thereof ) in the Mobile Data industry. In my forthcoming book and also through the Mobile Applications club - we will take it upon ourselves to foster innovation within this industry Where else to turn to for innovation than to Leonardo Da Vinci. I am particularly interested in finding out more(either your views or links) about his approach to machines and science. From the Musuem of Science .. Leonardo developed a unique new attitude about machines. |

Problem With Dividends (Dec 30 2003 23:30 GMT) - As you probably already know, the tax treatment of dividends changed over the last year and there has been a rush by companies to either begin or increase their dividend payments. I (along with almost everyone else with an opinion) think it's a good thing. However, there is one pesky side effect that affects the small investor who chooses to invest in individual stocks: what the heck do you do with those dividend payments? If you try to reinvest them through a brokerage account (even a deep-discount broker at $10/trade), transaction fees will pretty much destroy your returns. |

The game is based on the following Wendy's policy:You know how they always have your change ready when you pull up to the window? Its some kind of company policy. Lets say your total is $4. |
