Sweet home Chicago (Dec 31 2003 06:29 GMT) - This is not good news. The company that makes Fannie May and Fannie Farmer candies is rumored to be seriously considering bankruptcy and possibly closing operations next month. It sounds like the employees have vowed to fight tooth and nail to keep the company going and to keep their jobs. We still have one Fannie May store here in Springfield. I've probably only been there once in the last ten years. |
