Visualizing Wiki (Dec 31 2003 10:29 GMT) - [Korby Parnell] The smart folks over at IBM's Collaborative User Experience Research Group have done some research that indicates that there might be a way to spot vandalism on an open WikiWiki like wikipedia using data visualization tools. VERY interesting. I've been getting more and more interested in visualization techniques as a method to find bugs (more on this shortly) and see trends/patterns in data. This is an older post from Korby, but it's still really interesting. |
