Template update not rendering. (Dec 31 2003 22:47 GMT) - Aloha, I made some changes to my RU template last night, and though my log shows that my homepage (http://radio. weblogs. com/0001196/) is being upstreamed and I am seeing other changes (new posts) making it to the server, the changes I've made to my template are not showing up. This has been working fine, and just stopped working last night. |

Blogger News Item (Dec 31 2003 22:46 GMT) - What was I hoping for in the first place? Well, I think I wanted to believe that microcosmic practices could add up to more than macrocosmic forces; that is, I wanted to believe that the life of a human being wasn’t so completely constrained by a hierarchical procession of power that at least some everyday actions mattered in the collective pattern of existing. It’s not that I think that some people’s lives matter, and others don’t; |

Blogger News Item (Dec 31 2003 22:46 GMT) - The White House has today denied reports that President Bush tried to swap the entire US cow stock for a bag of magic beans in the wake of the BSE crisis. According to sources close to Mr Bush, he met a friend of Donald Rumsfeld at a recent drinks party who offered to solve the three major problems of BSE, world hunger and next year's re-election campaign. "This guy Rumsfeld knew said he'd take all of the cows off the President's hands, so that would solve BSE, and in exchange he'd give him enough magic beans to solve all the famines in Africa, with some left over for the Middle East, thus making the President the most popular man in history," said our man by the bar. "The President thought it was a brilliant idea and signed a contract with the guy in his best handwriting." However, when Mr Bush took the bag of magic beans back to the White House, aides gently informed him that he had been had. |

Blogger News Item (Dec 31 2003 22:46 GMT) - Sumo wrestling is the hottest new fad to hit the United States since Hula Hoops and transistor radios swept the country in 1959. And it's only going to get bigger, say analysts, because it's being driven by a built-in audience of over 140 million flabby Americans who are starved for entertainment other than operas, old John Candy movies and belly-flop contests that feature fat people. Blogger News Item (Dec 31 2003 22:46 GMT) - Southampton, LI, NY--Cattle farmers in this upscale community are reeling from the discovery that their herds have become infected with Bemused Cow Disease, the first such instance of the disease on the North American continent. Bemused Cow Disease, or BCD, is thought to result from exposing beef cattle to repeated viewings of the serious films of Woody Allen, such as "Shadows and Fog" and "Interiors", which induces a state of bemusement in livestock accustomed to fare like "Annie Hall" and "Bananas." BCD is highly contagious and there is no known antidote for the disease. [More] |

Blogger News Item (Dec 31 2003 22:46 GMT) - What was expected to be another night of groping, sexual advances, and amateur videography, soon evolved into a quiet evening at home reading the newspaper as Bob Breemer's longtime fascination with the breasts of his girlfriend Jennifer Wesley came to an abrupt end. Breemer, 28, who has spent the last six months obsessed with Wesley's breasts had no real explanation for his recent change of heart, but insists he's still attracted to his girlfriend...and her breasts. "I don't know, there's really nothing wrong," Breemer said. "She's got great boobs. |
