Based on Apple's Final Cut Pro 4 professional video editing software, Final Cut Express 2 includes some of the most popular features of Final Cut Pro 4 within a simplified user interface. Real-time effects, transitions, and video layers, or the ability to composite up to five simultaneous DV streams. Customizable buttons, dynamic window resizing, user-defined window layouts, and a new timeline with adjustable track heights. Real-time color correction tools allow users to interactively adjust and correct color balance between shots and create unique color effects. |

Apple's new iPod minis, and iLife suite (Jan 06 2004 20:57 GMT) - Well, that was fun. Steve Jobs' keynote, as expected, was very music centric, although he opened with a nod to the Mac's 20th birthday this year. He harked back to that ad, run during the 1984 SuperBowl, which announced the arrival of the first Mac, and screened a subtly remade version to wild acclaim in the hall. But grabbing the headlines will be the new iPod minis, which are tiny wee things: half an inch thick, and around the same size as a business card. |
