- But isn't Bush's overall strategy - bringing Hispanics into the folds of the Republican Party - ingenious? He's been doing it forever, and I imagine it has something to do with his home and tenure in Texas, and his personal relationship with Vicente Fox. But as a political maneuver, bringing Hispanics into the Republican Party, like blacks were brought into the Democratic Party, would assure a Republican edge for decades. It's the fastest growing ethnic group, by far. It's also not that far-fetched. |

I'm so glad I have these helpful friends, who brought me gobs of nice food for my fridge and I did NOT have to go outside! The last thing I want is to risk frostbite to get some groceries. |

It was crisp and cold, probably in the high 20's, and the trees were close to their peak in color. I had envisioned taking a panorama that included the actual Monastery itself, but couldn't come up with a good composition from the limited number of vantage points I was able to reach. |

BBC News is reporting today that Harrison's estate is suing the doctor for $10 million. The autographed guitar was just one of the "souvenirs" sought by the doctor who also allegedly used Harrison to gain publicity for himself and the hospital. |
