Def Leppard — Rock of Ages (Jan 11 2004 17:58 GMT) - nah, not really. just a miscellaneous post Scoble laid low by spyware. There’s a really obvious kicking-someone-when-they̵ observation to make here, of course, but I’m going to hold my tongue and move on. |

Two Imaginary Boys (Jan 11 2004 17:58 GMT) - In a moment of Netflix-derived serendipity, I had recent movies from Ben Affleck and Matt Damon show up at my house on the same day. I will stress that this was not by design, as I have no particular pre-existing attachment to either as an actor. I know them, respectively, as the one guy who’s amiable enough in Kevin Smith movies and has some sort of tabloid-sustaining relationship with the cute Puerto Rican girl with the nice booty, and the one guy who looks about 14 and was Mr. Winona Ryder or something for a while. |

Helpline Comment (25081) (Jan 11 2004 17:53 GMT) - RE: Tommyinscotland The first thing to do when having network issues is to get down to the basics, especially with protocols. If you have a link light on your card and it comes on when in WIndows or after the drivers are working, there is a good chance the card is setup successfully. NetBEUI is a great protocol, and more secure, but unfortunately is somewhat decentralized IME. If you are behind a router, using TCP/IP for file sharing is OKAY. |
