Yard Driver (Mc Kinney, TX) (Jan 11 2004 21:58 GMT) - Large distribution company in McKinney area is seeking a yard driver. Must have 1-3 years experience in over-the-road-driving, experience driving an 18-wheel tractor trailer and a Class C drivers license required. Main duties will be to drive trailers, up to 53 feet long, up to docks for loading and unloading, backing into parking spaces, and using fifth wheel to hook or unhook trailer. Blogs and German Politics (Jan 11 2004 21:57 GMT) - Some interesting thoughts at jimmiz journal on the (lack of) blogging and German politics (follow the links there to Nico, Heiko and Moe, I'm too lazy to type them in here), all the more interesting since Adam Curry seems to getting parties and politicians in The Netherlands to start blogging. But Germany does have the SPD in the Hamburg district of Horn, which has been blogging (with Movable Type) since the beginning of December. Keep it up! |
